Copilot is a subscription service that can be paid monthly or annually. Monthly plan subscribers pay $8.99. Those on the annual plan pay a fee of $69.99 once a year, saving more than $36 per year over the monthly plan.
The only way to use Copilot is with the app on an iOS or macOS device. There is neither an online version that can be accessed through a web browser nor an Android version.
The Copilot app has a few features that make it worth considering. First, the rebalance feature allows users to adjust category budgets to their actual spending for a single month or all upcoming months with a simple tap of the app.
Additionally, the ability to set a budget category as static or variable based on the month can make it easier to track fluctuating budget categories. The app also allows for the customization of many other features.

Mint is a budgeting app and then some. It is completely free and can be used on a computer or any mobile device. In addition to budget tracking, Mint offers free credit monitoring, bill payment tracking, custom goal-setting and more.
With YNAB, which stands for “You Need A Budget,” users pay a steep $14.99 monthly or $98.99 annually, but the app comes with an extensive learning library, live workshops and access to an online community that some users may find worth the cost.
One unique feature of YNAB is the ability to troubleshoot an out-of-balance budget.
Those interested in trying the Copilot app can download the app from the App Store. Once it is downloaded to a compatible device, users can launch the app and follow the prompts to create an account.

The Copilot app is a solid budgeting app, but only iOS and macOS users can take advantage of its many features.
Android users and those unwilling to pay a subscription fee can find many of the same features in other budgeting apps that don’t require a paid subscription.
